As IoT devices continue to evolve, their regulatory landscape is changing rapidly. For years, Internet of Things (IoT) solutions — whether in automotive, healthcare or critical infrastructure — have largely operated outside direct regulatory control. While IoT devices were subject to certain connection or licensing regulations, the workings of IoT devices themselves often escaped regulatory scrutiny.

Now, new regulatory developments are emerging, impacting how IoT devices can be implemented, especially in industries that rely on critical infrastructure. How can your organization stay ahead of these changes and ensure compliance as regulations continue to evolve?
