As you likely are aware, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) recently issued the Gateway Provider Report and Order, Order on Reconsideration, Order, and Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. Aimed at helping stop robocall scams that are internationally initiated, the updated guidelines include several call authentication requirements, including a mandate that Gateway Providers reference a “reasonable” Do Not Originate (DNO) list when routing calls.
While there are a few different DNO lists available, there’s only ONE list that comes DIRECT from the trusted administrator of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), the Toll-Free Number Registry (TFNRegistry®) and the Reassigned Numbers Database (RND) – Somos’ RealNumber® Do Not Originate (DNO)!
